Great News! While the BOE is going green, we have been green for a long time and plan to continue communicating just the same as we have been. You will continue to receive emails and voice messages as we have been doing since inception. The BOE has adopted a similar system for community messages. Please set yourself up to receive the BOE communications on the Honeywell Alert System. Honeywell Alert Instructions
In summary:
Cucinella PTO communications will come via our email distribution, voice messaging system or checking the website directly.
BOE (Emergency closings, delays, etc) and community communications will come from the Honeywell alert. You can go in and set preferences yourself.

News from the Nest staff and publishers are proud to present the fourth edition of News From the Nest June 2009
Previous editions:
News From the Nest March 2009
News from the Nest January 2009
Straight from Mark Levin, Director of the NESPA Organization: "Check out the latest issue of Lizabeth Holt's News from the Nest. Here's the January issue director from Cucinella Elementary School in Long Valley, NJ.
This issue if filled with lots of great stories. I was especially intrigued by the front page story on their recent experience when the entire school got snowed in with no power, no food, no phones."
National Elementary Schools Press Association (NESPA) has published News From the Nest January 2009 on their website! Check it out.
A special thank you to all the student staff and teachers that helped make this project a huge success!
